Our Work

The Association of Advocates Against Alcohol Harm in Nigeria is a coalition of CSOs whose objective is to advocate for the adoption and implementation of Alcohol policy in Nigeria.

It was established/registered with the CAC in 2019 following the inaugural meeting of the West African Alcohol Policy Alliance in January 2019 mandating all member countries to set up a national alliance. It however held her virtual launch on the 18th of June 2020.

Policy

We work closely Federal Ministry of Health(FMOH) in drafting and adopting the 1st national alcohol policy in Nigeria.

Community

We are a coalition of CSOs whose objective is to advocate for the adoption and implementation of Alcohol policy

Advocacy

We are provide populace education with quality advocacy on the harm of alcohol abuse.

Sustainability

We are working to see to sustainable society where alcohol abuse is low or non-existent in Nigeria.

Events

We have events where we discuss and strategize on how Alcohol abuse menace are curbed

Strategy

We work with stakeholders in promoting society where Alcohol Abuse is non-existent.
