About ASAAHN
The Association of Advocates Against Alcohol Harm in Nigeria is a coalition of CSOs whose objective is to advocate for the adoption and implementation of Alcohol policy in Nigeria.
ASAAHN was established/registered with the CAC in 2019 following the inaugural meeting of the West African Alcohol Policy Alliance in January 2019 mandating all member countries to set up a national alliance. It however held her virtual launch on the 18th of June 2020.
Government Partnership
We worked closely with the Federal Ministry of Health(FMOH) in drafting and adopting the first national alcohol policy in Nigeria
Our Coalition
ASAAHN has also increased its members to over 50 CSOs cut across the federation and a view to expand across Africa and in the global space
CSOs Support
ASAAHN also supports CSOs in organizing Alcohol harm campaign programs, radio talk shows, stakeholders meetings and so on
Enlightenment
At ASAAHN, we provide public advocacy and enlightenment on the dangers of alcohol abuse.
